AECOM National Governments Business Line is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to be the Federal Management Analyst to work remotely anywhere within the United States.

Job Summary:
AECOM National Governments is an annual $1.4B+ program of federal and government contracts and task orders. Working across the full life cycle of facilities and infrastructure for federal clients, the program encompasses planning, environmental, design, construction, construction management, disaster recovery/response and other services across all Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies.

The individual must have exceptional analytical abilities and strong communication skills to support the National Governments Business Line. Through detailed financial and business analysis, this individual will develop executive level presentations to shape strategic decision making at the CEO level. This individual will gain cross-functional experience working with multiple parts of AECOM: Client Account Managers, Market Sector Leaders, Operations, Marketing, Support, Finance, Legal etc.

The Federal Management Analyst is a key position in the AECOM National Governments Team supporting the global federal market in AECOM. Specific Duties include but are not limited to:

Market Research

+ Review and use Bloomberg searches

+ Utilize Deltek’s GovWin to identify and review future opportunities

Financial/Data Analysis & reporting

+ Assemble financial period data and complete PPT decks with the tracking data

+ Be able to identify Governments/federal programs/projects in SalesForce and oracle databases

+ Be highly proficient in MS Excel to include the use of functions to provide any requested analysis. Ability to develop complex spreadsheet to organize, analyze and display data.

+ Fully capable in advance features Microsoft features in Excel, PowerPoint, such as vlook up, pivot tables, and embedded objects

+ Highly proficient in Power BI to organize and display data to facilitate rapid assessments by program and project managers, Client Account Managers, Market Sector Leaders and Executives.

Strategy Development

+ Analysis of various Market Sectors to support strategy development

+ Assist with annual goal development for all National Governments, CAMs and BLs using analytical skills

+ Prepare and review monthly and quarterly reports. Develop new elements to meet senior management analysis and decision making

+ Prepare various presentations for senior leadership, CAMs and others

Program Support

+ Prepare Risk packages and manage the Risk Review process for Federal sponsorships/memberships/Conference Attendance/etc.

+ Oversee the management and maintenance of agreements for market research (i.e. Bloomberg, Deltek, SAM.GOV, etc.)

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related field and six (6) plus years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.

+ Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related field

+ 10+ years of related experience

+ Fully proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Power BI, Word, Outlook)

+ Capable of programing in Power BI to link external data sources and build customized dashboards.

+ Proficient in statistical analysis

+ Thorough understanding of Federal Procurement and the Federal Market

+ Advanced analytical and programing skills

+ Advanced statistical analysis capabilities
