Job Description

Family Success Coach needed to work in Columbia with some travel to Mexico, Boonville, and Fayette. The coach provides career coaching, family support services, and case management to help lift people out of poverty. Assist individuals receiving food stamps gain skills, training, and work experience using a strengths-based whole family approach. Assist with developing goals by assessing career training pathways and preparing for employment (writing resumes, job applications, and mock interviews); address barriers and support the family. Promote the program through recruitment, meetings, and community events.


Requires:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human or Child and Family Development, or a related field and 2 years work experience in a social service related field preferred. If no Bachelor's degree, then an Associate's degree is required along with 2 years work experience in a social service related field. Must have general knowledge of family involvement practices and working knowledge of family development and social services. Family Development Credential (FDC) is a plus but it may be obtained after hire.
