Facilities Custodian

Job Summary:

The Facilities Custodian is responsible for keeping the facility clean, stocked with supplies and operating within Food Safety guidelines.

Job Duties:

• Cleaning of office areas and common areas to include breakroom, restrooms and production floor
• Vacuuming, mopping, changing trash, windows, dusting and stocking supplies & toiletries
• Weekly clean-out of breakroom refrigerators and storage shelves
• Maintain grounds including mowing, trimming & edging, shrub trimming, collecting trash, power washing and emptying cigarette butt containers.
• General clean-up and Preventative Maintenance on equipment
• Occasionally assist the Facility Maintenance Technicians with equipment repairs
• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment with minor repairs and preventative maintenance
• Off-site parts runner as needed
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Painting when needed
• Comply with GMP’s
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• 1 year experience with custodian duties

• Machinery knowledge is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend and walk a minimum of eight (8) hours per shift.

• Ability to read, write and communicate in fluent English.

• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 75+ lbs

• Ability to work occasionally in small, confined spaces

Position Type:

This is a full-time position. The position will occasionally require long hours and some weekend work.

Travel:

Only occasional local travel is expected.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
