Job Description

Position Summary

How you'll perform the role.
  • Operate extrusion line, maintaining proper speeds, adjustments, etc., to insure a quality product and production rates.
  • Make complete line setups on jobs from charts and specifications.
  • Perform continuous inspections of product both visual as well as through the use of micrometers and calipers.
  • Record product and process parameters.
  • Assemble packaging materials as required by Job Sheet.
  • Keep extrusion line and surrounding area clean and orderly and in compliance with 5-S/LEAN initiatives.
  • Mix materials, load hoppers and grind scrap product as required by operational needs.
  • Perform work of an equal or lower classification as required.

    Qualifications

  • Accredited High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • Must be able to interpret set up sheets
  • Able to properly use calipers, mics, lasers, and gauges
  • Must be able to lift or move items in excess of 50 lbs occasionally (e.g. material bags, extruder screws and product reels).
