Job Description
Position Summary
How you'll perform the role.- Operate extrusion line, maintaining proper speeds, adjustments, etc., to insure a quality product and production rates.
- Make complete line setups on jobs from charts and specifications.
- Perform continuous inspections of product both visual as well as through the use of micrometers and calipers.
- Record product and process parameters.
- Assemble packaging materials as required by Job Sheet.
- Keep extrusion line and surrounding area clean and orderly and in compliance with 5-S/LEAN initiatives.
- Mix materials, load hoppers and grind scrap product as required by operational needs.
- Perform work of an equal or lower classification as required.
Qualifications
Qualifications - Accredited High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must be able to interpret set up sheets
- Able to properly use calipers, mics, lasers, and gauges
- Must be able to lift or move items in excess of 50 lbs occasionally (e.g. material bags, extruder screws and product reels).
