Job Description
Works directly with the industry's top producers in FMO Distribution. Primary objectives are to: 1) Maintain and grow a producer's premium with Allianz as determined by issued premium from the sale of Allianz annuities: and 2) To identify and activate industry's top producers currently not writing with Allianz. Will demonstrate a strong initiative to segment, protect and grow these critical relationships with our club qualifiers and other top industry producers. Strong communication skills and industry knowledge will be paramount from an understanding of FMO Distribution to a working knowledge of broker-dealer and RIA distribution opportunities. They must be an expert in Allianz FIA product knowledge and sales application that will serve to increase sales in Allianz FIA's. A high level of communication and partnership are required with the Sr. Sales Rep, Director of Sales, and Regional Vice Presidents to drive regional sales targets.
Sales: Own, maintain and grow producer relationships through face to face meetings, constant contact, conferences and events. Segment, prospect, and activate industry top producers. Meet and exceed sales and retention targets. Strategize, plan and participate in targeted marketing campaigns. Partner with Sr. Reps to ensure top producers are receiving concierge service in all areas.
Time, Territory, and Reporting Management: Attend 7-10 appointments per week three weeks per month resulting in 200 plus face to face meetings in a year. Consistently update SalesForce with planned and completed meetings in addition to entertainment, conference meetings and other relevant sales activities. Provide sales and meeting updates to regional teams and Allianz Distribution Partners. Prepare quarterly business plans aligning regional business goals with sales activities. Meet and exceed key performance and activity benchmarks. Communicate and report weekly to National Sales Director.
Development: Establish self as product and positioning expert for the FIA industry focusing on sales positioning of Allianz Preferred FIAs. Increase awareness of Allianz products and value proposition with top producers in your region. Build knowledge of financial planning software and the application of Allianz products within individual software. Develop a clear understanding of Broker-Dealer and RIA distribution channel and how Allianz FIAs fit into their financial planning models.
