InnoVision Marketing Group is searching for our next WordPress Web Developer for our growing Web Department!

Summary/Objective

The WordPress Web Developer works on a variety of projects primarily involved in website design and development, including designing the user interface and overall customer experience for websites and applications. This includes overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages and writing efficient code.

Essential Functions

• Build, manage and provide maintenance of all websites and other electronic publications and/or applications.
• Build, manage and update sites using e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce and Shopify.
• Troubleshoot plug-ins for cross-device compatibility.
• Perform manual website migrations.
• Work with account team, creative teams and Creative Director(s) on style and approach for all projects.
• Participate in efforts to improve the quality of websites and other electronic publications as required.
• Test and optimize websites to be compatible with all screen sizes and devices.
• Keep an organized record of all project files related to all client websites.
• Handles any necessary SEO implementation as requested by client and/or supervisor.
• Stay up to date on all new methods and/or technologies used to develop websites.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of WordPress development with the ability to integrate and customize a variety of plugins and functions to meet client’s needs.
• Excellent knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and experience with responsive layout and frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Must have at least one year of professional WordPress Web Development Experience.
• Excellent communication is a must.
• Must be able to collaborate interdepartmentally and communicate clearly.
• Must have strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Drupal is a plus.
• Experience with Linux, cPanel, DNS, phpMyAdmin, React, Node.js, ASP.NET and Git is a huge plus.
