Experienced Veterinary Technician

Due to our continued success, we are currently recruiting a Experienced/Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting as a veterinary technician.

Must have great client communication skills, ability to multi-task, strong work ethic, shows initiative and the willingness to be a team member.

The candidate also must be proficient in;

• Avimark experience (preferred)
• Assist in surgery and surgical monitoring
• Obtaining exceptional patient history
• Perform dental prophylaxis
• Venipuncture
• IV Catheterization
• Administering medications
• Vaccination protocols
• Obtain, perform and interpret laboratory tests/samples (fecals, U/A, skin scrapes etc.)
• Radiograph positioning
• Perform safe restraint of patients
• Triage patients
• Maintain a clean and healthy work environment for both staff and clients
• Open schedule availability. Work schedule includes some weekends/holidays, on rotation
