VCA Clackamas Animal Hospital is looking to add an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist (Client Service Representative) to our team. We are a 4 DVM, AAHA-accredited, small animal practice. We see cats and dogs seven days a week for preventative care, dentistry, and surgeries, and more. We pride ourselves on making a personal connection with every client and pet. We make work-life balance a reality in veterinary medicine. Our hospital is conveniently located in the Fred Meyer complex off of I-205 Exit 12 in Clackamas.
As the face of VCA Clackamas Animal Hospital, our Client Service Representatives set the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates, and is responsible for:
- Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
- Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
- Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
- Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
- Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
Clinic Hours: M-F 8am-6pm; Sat 8am-5pm; Sun 9am-5pm
Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts, alternating weekends.
Compensation: Starting at $19/hr
