Exercise Planner

This critical position provides a unique opportunity to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The NRO Operation Center Exercise Planner provides advice on the coordination, management, and leadership of NRO exercise participation in multiple exercises each year.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting NRO operations and exercises, from either the Government or industry partner perspective. The candidate should also be comfortable building partnerships across the space community while representing NRO equities.

Responsibilities include orchestrating specific actions in preparation for exercises, explaining exercise participation, and presenting the NRO Director’s expectations. The Exercise Planner will manage planning meetings and attend conferences as the NRO representative to develop NRO specific requirements. The Exercise Planner will contribute to the management the NRO Joint Training Plan and the NRO Joint Exercise Working/Steering Groups.

Required Qualifications:

• BS Degree and minimum of 5 years related experience in the NRO or DoD Space
• Relative experience in DoD or IC exercise planning
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Current/active Top Secret SCI and CI Poly
  

Deliverables will include reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government.
