What you will do in this role:
The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for providing individualized, goal directed care and education to patients through the use of the systematic process of assessment, implementation, and evaluation.- The Exercise Physiologist will analyze the patients’ fitness in order to help them improve or maintain good health.
- They will help patients with heart disease and other chronic conditions, like pulmonary disease, regain their health.
- This position requires proficiency in cardiac and pulmonary care to ensure the delivery of high service standards while promoting an excellent patient experience.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors of Science with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, and/or Kinesiology.
National fitness related certification preferred.- Clinical experience preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support course (ALS or ACLS) certification is preferred.
