Valley Regional Medical Center is a 214 Licensed Bed Facility with over 200 physicians representing over 25 specialties; Valley Regional Medical Center is a leader in a vast array of high quality inpatient and outpatient programs and services.

What you will do in this role:

• 
  The Exercise Physiologist is responsible for providing individualized, goal directed care and education to patients through the use of the systematic process of assessment, implementation, and evaluation.
• The Exercise Physiologist will analyze the patients’ fitness in order to help them improve or maintain good health.
• They will help patients with heart disease and other chronic conditions, like pulmonary disease, regain their health.
• This position requires proficiency in cardiac and pulmonary care to ensure the delivery of high service standards while promoting an excellent patient experience.
  

Qualifications

Education:

• 
  Bachelors of Science with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, and/or Kinesiology.

What qualifications you will need:

• 
  National fitness related certification preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.

• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support course (ALS or ACLS) certification is preferred.
