Nature of Duties:

This is a senior level executive position responsible for operations oversight of CIS service lines such as the Virtual Care Center, Intensive Cardiac Rehab and other unique, strategic service lines developed in the future. This position will also feature the analysis and consideration of new business opportunities for the benefit of CIS.

Overall responsibilities include being a resource for executives, practice administrators, physicians, nurse practitioners, and others as needed where current services, new services or practices can be considered. The overall objective is the ongoing growth of the practice, and the services that can be offered for the benefit of CIS and its patients.

Specific Duties:

  • The primary responsibility of the EVP of Operations is to provide management oversight for new, strategic service lines such as the Virtual Care Center, Intensive Cardiac Rehab, Telecardiology, and other strategic service lines implemented at CIS.
  • As a secondary responsibility, the EVP of Operations will act as a resource for the CEO as it relates to new practice opportunities, technology, and service line opportunities that can benefit the patients of CIS.
  • EVP of Operations may serve as a resource to the COO and CFO for a variety of opportunities related to growth and expansion of the practice.
  • The EVP of Operations oversees all aspects of CIS operations in the assigned locations or areas of responsibility and administers the policies and procedures set by the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Service line managers of areas of responsibility will report directly to the EVP of Operations for their specific service.
  • The EVP of Operations reviews, monitors, and evaluates day-to-day and long-term procedures being followed by each area of responsibility or department and institutes changes or recommends same to the Chief Executive Officer.
  • The EVP of Operations provides advice to the Chief Executive Officer on all aspects of operations within the assigned areas of responsibility. The EVP of Operations will create and submit routine operational and financial reports to the CEO.
  • The EVP of Operations represents CIS with regards to any aspect of any clinic or department within the assigned areas of responsibility to any outside parties or interested individuals.
  • The EVP of Operations will work with HR to determine new hire salary rates being cognizant of existing staff salaries and the companies’ financial position.
  • The EVP of Operations serves as an advisor to other managers on issues related to the areas of responsibility.
  • The EVP of Operations will address all employee needs as they relate to benefits, special circumstances, cell phones (when appropriate), work schedules, etc. The EVP of Operations will play an integral role in the promotion of corporate objectives such as LEAN, Level Loading of Patient Schedules, Patient Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, and other corporate objectives that may be initiated from time to time.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of CIS and in accordance with CIS’s patient philosophy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a clinic, department, or specific function of CIS or a comparable medical practice.
  • Experience in developing or implementing successful operations, strategies and standards for a medical practice.
  • MBA, MHA or other Master’s level degree is required.
