Job Summary/Description:
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, dynamic leader to lead the digital team at Nashville's legacy news operation. The Executive Producer of Digital Content will develop a strategy for an expanding menu of digital platforms, with a strong emphasis on streaming platforms. OTT experience is an absolute must.
- Recruit, hire, develop, and lead digital team
- Develop and continuously update a digital strategic plan
- Emphasize OTT content, planning, promotion, and execution.
- Work with news and marketing departments on strategy and promotion of daily content
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience in leading a digital news team and developing a digital strategic plan
- Successful track record in growing digital news products and OTT development
- Experience in developing and executing social media strategy
- Ability to train on-air staff on effective use of social media and monitor their use
- Proven ability to innovate
- Understanding of digital measurement tools
