MORE ABOUT THIS JOB: EXECUTIVE OFFICE The Executive Office plays an integral role in setting and advancing Goldman Sachs’ corporate strategy, and in preserving the firm’s distinctive culture. We are responsible for safeguarding the firm’s relationship with alumni, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm’s evolving priorities. We also partner with the businesses to source high-impact opportunities in line with the firm’s social and sustainability agendas.RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: About Goldman Sachs Marketing
Led by the firm’s first Chief Marketing Officer, the marketing function at Goldman Sachs is backed by momentum and a broad imperative to unify the discipline, helping to codify a business-critical function seen as core to the firm’s future growth. As such, Goldman Sachs is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization will consist of COE teams in the Executive Office including Brand Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Transformation, Content, and Media, as well marketing teams for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this function will collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Our mission is to be a demonstrable force multiplier for the businesses we serve.
The Brand Marketing group is responsible for managing the external facing brand of Goldman Sachs and creating content that explains our businesses, the work we do for clients, the impact we have on our communities, and our unique and collaborative culture. We create content and campaigns distributed across goldmansachs.com, social media, paid media, sponsored content hubs, and other platforms to key audiences of importance to the firm’s reputation, commercial objectives, and recruiting goals. As such, our team also manages the firm’s presence on social media (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and the GS.com website. We manage marketing for firm recruitment efforts, philanthropy, sustainability, and key initiatives such as Launch With GS. As well, we lead masterbrand strategy and serve as internal marketing consultants to the different businesses across the firm.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Associate, Content Manager, you will be part of the Brand Marketing team building on an exceptional brand that reflects the firm’s ambitious future. You will be a vital member of the team responsible for managing the strategy, design and development, and day-to-day publishing operations of GoldmanSachs.com.
We’re looking for an experienced content manager with proven track record in publishing a wide-range of content types, managing a variety of website page types, and working with teams across regions and disciplines. The ideal candidate will be skilled at working with an assortment of content (text, photos, video, infographics) and transforming it into best-in-class user experiences. It will be important for the content manager to take great pride in consistently delivering work with exceptional accuracy.
We are looking for someone with outstanding organizational skills who thrives on creating the highest quality work while multi-tasking with imminent deadlines.

Help with the day-to-day publishing of content on GoldmanSachs.com across global and local language websites- Work with team to form best practice recommendations for internal clients based on specific audience needs
- Collaborate in strategy and design decisions for continually improving the site
- Engage internal clients across the firm to assess communication needs and secure approvals
- Maintain clear and consistent tone and style of GoldmanSachs.com to core audiences
- Use content management system to prepare content for review
- Track pending unapproved content and follow up as appropriate
- Work closely with colleagues in engineering on projects, publishing, and troubleshooting
CORE COMPETENCIES
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, 4 to 7 years of experience in a content manager, editorial or project management position- Extraordinary organization skills and ability to work across concurrent workstreams
- Comfortable working collaboratively
- Detail-oriented and committed to editing accuracy
- Proficiency with content management systems, production and publishing
- Writing and editing skills: excellence with English language and grammar
- General photo-editing skills preferred
- Project management: some experience coordinating longer-term development projects
- Able to think ahead and be proactive on next steps
- Familiarity and interest in the financial services industry
- Interested in process improvement, technology and content management
- Excellent communication skills; present ideas in clear and logical way
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
