Job Description
Ditka's Restaurant Group
Ditka's Restaurant Group is currently seeking a full time Executive Chef for our Pittsburgh location.
The ideal candidate must have a:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as Executive Chef
- Experience managing a kitchen of similar standing
- Serve Safe Certified
Responsibilities include managing daily kitchen operations including but not limited to:
- Ability to teach and run all stations with precision
- Ability to follow food specifications and produce perfect plates
- Ability to command the expo station and qualify food to specifications
- Be a leader both in the BOH and the FOH
- Daily inventory, ordering and receiving
- Audit all aspects of the kitchen daily to insure we are compliant with health code
- Keep kitchen and all equipment clean and organized
- Lead by example and maintain a positive workplace
- Ability to create staff schedules and control labor cost
- Work 50-55 hours per week
