Job Description

RCN Capital is a nationwide lender specializing in real estate investment loans. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and organized Executive Assistant to support the CEO and COO with day-to-day operations. This position will be responsible for maintaining daily calendars, including scheduling and coordinating meetings and phone calls, handling incoming correspondence, and screening matters to be escalated to the attention of the CEO and COO. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will schedule closings for RCN's legal team and will update company executives on the progress of different projects. Ideal candidates will possess exemplary written and verbal communication skills, an ability to multi-task, and strong attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain daily Outlook calendar for CEO and COO
  • Schedule and prepare materials for meetings and phone calls
  • Screen and summarize incoming correspondence for CEO and COO and escalate issues to the appropriate parties
  • Schedule closings in conjunction with RCN's legal team
  • Keep informed on the progress of company projects and provide summaries and updates to CEO and COO on a regular basis
  • Be an active first point-of-contact for all customers CEO supports and assist in meeting their needs based on Company direction and estimated implied level of urgency.
  • Assist CEO in creating an action plan for any level of issues that arise and work with the needed parties until close and solution.
  • Handle incoming mail and packages for CEO
  • Handle additional projects and tasks as advised by CEO and COO

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced skill in MS Excel
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in an team environment

Required Experience:

  • At least one year of experience working in an office environment
  • Experience creating and running reports in MS Excel
  • Experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant a plus
  • Experience working in banking, finance, or real estate preferred

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Schedule:

  • Full time
  • Monday-Friday, 9AM to 6PM
