Job Description
JOB DUTIES:
- Primarily responsible with assisting customers in the coordination of their events
- Work with clients to provide onsite survey inspections and design event plans
- Obtain any necessary permits for the event
- Provide written quotes according to established procedures
- Coordinate with outside services including florists, bakers, caterers, and event staff if requested by the client
- Prepare and process contracts
- Contact clients prior to the event to verify delivery and pick-up times and coordinate and necessary changes
- Follow up with the client per company policy
- Make outside sales calls to solicit new business, promote the rental concept on sales calls
- Maintain rental quotes and reservation contract files
- Assist in store advertising per the direction of the Director of Inside Sales
- Perform other duties as requested
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Most work will be done indoors in an office or warehouse setting.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or event planning
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret directions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Attention to detail
- Rental industry experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
