Arlington Heights, Ill., March 10, 2020 - Arlington Heights Ford is among an elite group of Ford and Lincoln dealerships to be recognized with the 2019 President's Award by Ford Motor Company. The prestigious award honors dealerships that have excelled in automotive retailing by providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout 2019.

Arlington Heights Ford has won this award 31 consecutive years - more than any other Ford dealership in the country.

The President's Award was established in 1998, but similar awards date back to the 1980s. Dealers become eligible through survey responses from customers related to their sales and service satisfaction. Only the top one percent of dealers across the nation achieve this honor annually.

This is a job share position. The qualified candidate(s) will work Monday - Friday (4 pm - 8 pm) and Saturday (8 am - 6 pm).

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional manner and transfer calls to appropriate person/department
  • Responsible for handling cash drawer and balancing it daily
  • Process cash, check and credit card receipts for sales, parts and service departments
  • Maintain dealer license plate inventory
  • Light filing
  • Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Set service appointments through inbound and outbound calls


  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
  • Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high volume dealership
  • Must be a team player with integrity and strong work ethics
  • Professional appearance and eager to improve on all aspects
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer and math skills required. CDK experience a PLUS!
  • Valid driver's license
