Job Summary & Responsibilities
Job Summary
This role serves as the primary point of contact around day-to-day management of Epic Application (employees may specialize across applications / solutions). This role is to be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of the application and provide end-users with support, resolving issues as they arise as well as proactively managing / coordinating with other Epic Application Analysts across teams to create dynamic user focused solution.
Essential Functions
Serve as primary point of contact between IT team and end users, addressing their day to day issues and identifying issues to be coordinated across teams when needed- Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows, how applications are currently meeting those needs, and identifying potential problem areas
- Work collaboratively across Epic teams to generate unique and innovative solutions to address user issues
- Analyze technical issues associated with Epic software Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system
Key Skills
Technically skilled across EPIC Applications- Ability and willingness to manage and prioritize multiple assignments or tasks with potentially conflicting deadlines, desire to seek out additional assignments or tasks, and to help others
- Ability and desire to quickly learn and develop new skillsets in a quick paced environment
- Strong team building and communication skills, both written and oral with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent coursework field and/or applicable military experience
Preferred Education
Master's degree or other advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
3+ years professional experience working with EPIC applications in a healthcare setting, preferably in an IPA or managed care environment
Preferred Experience
5+ years professional experience working with EPIC applications in a healthcare setting, preferably in an IPA or managed care environment
