Providence is calling an Environmental Services Technician (1.0 FTE, Evenings) to work in Environmental Services at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

Performs a variety of custodial/housekeeping duties throughout the medical center to clean, sanitize and refurbish all areas of assigned facilities, including patient rooms, lobbies, meeting rooms, hallways and restrooms. May do exterior cleaning of entrance areas and sidewalks and removal of trash from parking garages.

In this position you will:

• Perform a variety of custodial tasks related to cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms to ensure their continued cleanliness with sanitary and infection control standards: Assigned work area(s) are completed in a thorough and timely manner; Positive score on supervisor inspection. Area maintained according to correct infection control standards.
• Strip and clean beds, mattresses, bedside tables and closets after patient discharge: Patient rooms are timely and completely cleaned Positive score on supervisor inspection; No patient complaints.
• Clean all public and office areas of the medical center and clinic areas: Office and public areas are maintained according to schedule; Positive score on supervisor inspection; No complaints from occupants of offices.
• Restock paper goods, hand soap and other items on an ongoing basis is all areas of the facilities: Supplies are replaced in work areas as needed; Supplies are used in a cost effective manner; Positive score on supervisor inspection. No complaints from patients, staff or visitors.
• Perform a variety of tasks related to floor and carpet care: Carpets are clean to the eye and floors are shiny and have no scuff marks.
• Collect and remove waste and soiled linen from work areas: Soiled utility rooms are not overfilled with trash bags and linen hampers are no more than ¾ full at any time.
• Ensure all equipment, carts and storage areas are properly maintained: Equipment is cleaned and maintained according to schedule; All breakdowns are reported promptly; Positive score on supervisor inspection.
