Job Description
GHD has an exciting opportunity for an Enviromental Scientist to be base from our Lake Charles, LA office .Working within one of our Contaminated Assesement & Remediation team, you willWork under the supervision of senior contamination assessment and remediation team leaders. Responsibilities include collecting groundwater samples, associated remediation system samples (soil vapor and ambient air), in seasonally-harsh weather conditions. What you will bring to the team

- 4-year Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering, Geology, or Science) degree. .
- 0- 3 years experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous oil and gas experience is a plus
- OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and with a team of geologists and engineers
