Entry Level Manufacturing Technician

Hoya Vision Care is seeking an entry level manufacturing technician will work with tools to manufacture optical lenses. They will also assist in all of areas of a finishing laboratory including:

• Lens receiving and tracing
• Wash-up
• Shipping – packaging, boxing, br

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• None required but customer service or optical background helpful

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able and willing to work as a team
• Great communication, problem solving and follow through skills
• Basic Math
• Able to read and write English Language well
• Able to memorize large amounts of data accurately
• Must possess basic computer knowledge and be able to use it effectively

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and to use hands to grasp and manipulate. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
