Job Description

Entry level engineers receive exposure to some of Mott MacDonald’s most prestigious projects. We’re known for delivering projects in the areas of water, energy, transport, built environment and advisory. We were the owner’s engineer for the United States’ first offshore wind farm – Rhode Island’s Block Island. Endeavoring to create a metro system with less pollution, and quicker connections, we are the prime designer for LA’s Regional Connector project. With our innovative solutions, we delivered robust and resilient water and wastewater solution that serves staff and visitors at one of America’s most iconic tourist destinations – Liberty Island.

In 2020, Mott MacDonald became the first company in our sector to be certified Carbon Neutral, globally.

You’ll work as part of a team of exceptional engineers who have a passion for consultant engineering. From your first week, you’ll be working on projects and receive guidance from both your mentor and buddy. Each of our offices have dedicated and active sports and social teams, offering discounted outings throughout the year. It's worth noting that committees tend to vary from office to office, so in addition to getting involved in what we already have to offer, don’t be afraid to suggest new events or initiatives that you think could be a great addition.

You’ll also have the opportunity to expand your social and professional network. Whether it be meeting other graduates at the graduate weekend residential course or joining one of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity networks.

With our Connected Conversations, you will be able to effectively track and plan your personal and professional development with your line manager. We understand that each person’s career goals vary, therefore we tailor each employee’s development program to suit them.
