The Role:
This position entails working with the TrueAccord team to perform end to end process reviews, risk assessments, and control identification. This critical role ensures that:
  • Self assessments in AuditBoard are documented for the entire organization
  • A comprehensive review of processes is completed
  • Controls are identified
  • Controls are assessed for effectiveness
  • Reports and Trends are communicated on assessments and controls
  • Training is conducted on Risk and Controls in Audit Board
  • Enhance and document thorough risk assessment process
The position requires enhancing TA’s Enterprise Risk Assessment program to ensure that all risks are documented and appropriately mitigated. This position will work with various stakeholders to identify their existing and needed controls to effectively reduce risk.
In addition, this position will be responsible for ensuring the documentation is up to date in TA’s risk tool, Audit Board, and will provide reporting to that effect. Escalation methods should be enhanced to alert the TA management team when residual risks are occurring or controls are not in place.
Collaboration with key members of the TA team is critical to ensure success in this role, as the Risk Analyst will not be the owner of the controls, but instead will influence those responsible for the successful delivery of such risk assessments.

Responsibilities in the long term:
  • Enhance reporting to provide long term trending on controls and risks across the organization
  • Provide ongoing training and guidance to the organization on how to ensure controls are effective and continuously monitored for risk mitigation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years in financial, business consultancy, process engineering or technology service companies with experience in either Operations, Audit, Compliance, Control or equivalent experience.
  • Collections experience a plus
  • Certifications in related competency a plus (CPA, CIA, etc).
