Job Description

The 2Gen Project is focused on supporting and connecting families after relocation from under-resourced neighborhoods to safe, robust communities where they can thrive. As the Enrollment Coordinator, you will field inquiries from individuals interested in participating in the program, encourage individuals to enroll by highlighting the benefits of the program, facilitate the referral and intake process for families enrolling in this program, as well as ensure their client files are maintained according to the program’s requirements. The Enrollment Coordinator reports to the Manager of Family & Community Engagement.

Staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to submit proof of their vaccination status before their start date unless they have an agency approved medical or religious exemption. Staff with an exemption will need to provide proof of weekly testing.

What you’ll do:

  • Respond to inquiries about the program from participants, the community, and other service providers.
  • Promote the program components and benefits.
  • Encourage prospective participants to enroll in the program.
  • Schedule intake appointments to determine eligibility and assess for appropriate referrals.
  • Coordinate initial program enrollment between participants and program staff and support successful ongoing engagement.
  • Manage participate files and ensure service documentation meets program, agency, and funder requirements.
  • Participate in community collaboration opportunities to increase program visibility and accessibility.

Who you are:

  • Candidates may have either a Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field or a High School diploma/equivalent plus at least three years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience working with youth, adult, and/or family service programming preferred for all candidates.
  • You have experience with clerical and/or administrative aspects of program operations.
  • You have knowledge of various social service, educational and community resources.
  • You have sound professional judgment and the desire to work as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
  • You are able to attend community collaboration meetings in person and have access to reliable transportation.
  • You are an intuitive, nonjudgmental listener who easily builds relationships built on respect, trust and positive regard.
  • You have a warm, effective communication style, both verbally and in your written communication.

The Details:

  • Location: Hybrid. Home office located at 5958 S. Marshfield Ave with some opportunities to work remotely.
  • Schedule: Full-time, hourly; general business hours plus flexibility for community events.
  • Salary: Range starts at $17.93/hr; offers are commensurate with experience.
