As an Enrollment and Eligibility Representative , you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, processing, and maintaining new member(s) / group enrollment information.

This position is full - time (40 hours / week). Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional / required overtime or weekends. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Position in this function is responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining new member or group enrollments
  • Position may load new member or group data into the enrollment database & update the database with changes
  • Position may also respond to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment status
  • Position may work with various types of member correspondence
  • Position may also be responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changes
  • Position may also be responsible for inventory control of member and group transactions
  • Moderate work experience within own function
  • Some work is completed without established procedures
  • Basic tasks are completed without review by others
  • Supervision / guidance is required for higher level tasks
  • Applies knowledge / skills to activities that often vary from day to day
  • Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function
  • Requires little assistance with standard and non - standard requests
  • Solves routine problems on own
  • Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems
  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines
  • Works with others as part of a team

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, mouse and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Available to work 40 hours / week within the operating hours of the site
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM including the flexibility to work occasional / required overtime and weekends based on business need

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.19. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $15.77 to $27.79.
