The Gastroenterology West Specialty Group of The Oregon Clinic has a full-time Endoscopy Nurse opening at our busy Endoscopy Center located in SW Portland (next door to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center). This full-time position is 4/10s. Days worked during the week will vary. Shift times are also variable and begin between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Position will work in our ambulatory surgery center and is responsible for admission and recovery of patients, monitoring patients and assisting physicians in procedures, and making pre and post op calls. We are looking for a team player who can multitask and provide high quality patient care in a busy outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have prior acute care/recovery experience, and will be flexible to pick up shifts as needed. No weekends, evenings or holidays are required with the position. Competitive pay, depending on experience and license.

Requirements:

  • Current Oregon State Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license
  • Prior experience in an acute care/recovery setting preferred.
  • Prior experience with Logician and Centricity a plus.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and office staff, patients and their families
  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism
  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
