Additionally, strict Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements will be followed by the company, and is expected of the person fulfilling this position.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Administering medical questionnaires directly to school attendees and staff
- Test personnel entering school campus/job sites
- Test personnel departing school campus/job sites
- Administering and interpreting the temperature of an individual utilizing tympanic, infrared (IR) and/or oral thermometers according to manufacturer’s instructions and CDC guidance for personal protection
- Reporting cases of positive and negative responses according to established protocols while remaining cognizant of appropriate reporting requirements (State, Local and Federal) requirements (established per site)
- Disseminating relevant client policies and info given to us and as directed by client
- Being a general resource to client and employees
- Acquire samples of potentially infectious nasal swabs and/or saliva samples from individuals after obtaining consent for testing.
- Comply with laws and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of information collected
- Wear and remove/dispose PPE as required within the protocol for performing medical testing and screening
Qualifications
- Possession of a current EMT-B license and up-to-date BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with Sling is a plus
- Ability to communicate quickly and effectively
- Ability to learn quickly and be resourceful while solving problems
- Strong computer/tech skills
- Reliable transportation (travel between testing locations may be required)
