Emergency Medicine Physician - North Tampa (part-time)

GuideWell Emergency Doctors is expanding into West Florida with six (6) new locations in the Tampa Florida area.

Hiring now for part-time - ABEM/AOBEM Board-Certified Emergency Physicians - ideally covering 5-8+ shifts per month .

Facility Hours: M-F 9am-7pm / S-Su 9am-4pm

We provide emergency care at one-third the cost and shorter wait times by combining the convenience and low-cost of an urgent care clinic with the technology and medical personnel associated with a hospital ER.

NARRATIVE
This position reports to the Medical Director in support of the collective organization Mission with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Directors, and Regional Leadership to provide quality patient care, to facilitate and adhere to:

POSITION DUTIES

1) Quality Medicine: ensure high quality and efficient medical care; monthly quality metrics; completion of regulatory required processes (Joint Commission, AHCA, CDC, etc.); creating Saved Admissions and Saved Operations as compared to our organizational trends.

2) Taking Care of our People: participating in monthly growth meetings if requested; adhering to provider schedule on time and effectively monthly; providing support to our providers and Facility Directors.

3) Superior Service: outstanding customer service; having collaborative relationships with payers, providers, employees, and practices; leading by example and providing constructive criticism when necessary; great attention to detail with compassion for serving others.

4) Fiscal Responsibility: complete annual checklist and update it monthly; participate in facility budget meetings when requested; guarantee that the facility never closes due to lack of provider coverage.

5) The quantity of shifts vary depending on need. Must be successfully credentialed through routine privilege and credential process used for staff physicians.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1) Must have Active ABEM/AOBEM Board Certification, and technical proficiency in Emergency Medicine
2) Must have Active/Clear FL State license
3) Five (5) years’ experience working in Emergency Medicine--after Residency training
4) Proficiency with Windows such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other electronic communication
6) Work established Facility Hours, and stay after hours as needed for patient care.

Facility Hours: M-F 9am-7pm and Sa-Su 9am-4pm
