Emergency Department Technician

MAJOR FUNCTION: Under the direction of Registered Nurses and physicans, assists in the provision of patient care and with maintaining the patient care environment in the Emergency Department. Emergency Department Technicians shall not function as regulated/licensed professional
QUALIFICATIONS: Education : High school education or its equivalent
Experience : Previous experience as a certified EMT or nursing assistant, paramedic or RN student (completed first year) preferred
Certification/Licensure : American Heart Association BLS required CPI initial for new hires within 60 days followed by annual deescalation training provided by Inspira.
