Job Title: Embroidery Machine Operator

Description: Someone who can solely set up and operate automatic embroidery machines and knowledge of stock thread colors. They must also be capable of reading and understanding order forms, detailed instructions, and design sheets. Along with communicating any required adjustments or discrepancies, you must be able to approve finished products per instructed specifications and record their quality results.

Duties:

• Read and interpret orders without need of direction.
• Operate automatic embroidery machines with multiple sewing heads.
• Upload embroidery files onto the embroidery machine.
• Complete orders in a timely fashion.
• Neatly fold or package completed orders.
• Take inventory of supplies used and supplies needed so the machine is always stocked for the next project.
• Selecting correct color thread and being able to draw it through the machine guides and bobbin.
• Properly place and align all types of clothing to ensure consistent quality.
• Replacing bobbins, threading and needles.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Merrillville, IN 46410: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
