This dynamic role is f or a highly organized and detailed Email Specialist who will work within the Cisco Webex online team . T his person must be technologically adept, have exceptional project management and communication skills, and is highly collaborative . As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will help create and evaluate segmentation, email, and canvas elements to ensure everything is executed correctly and on-time.
Y ou will be part of the team that manages the users digital experience of Webex products and solutions through highly engaged, and compelling onboarding nurtures, always-on campaigns, user journeys , and promotions via email marketing efforts. You will optimize existing programs as well as generate net-new campaigns. In addition, you will help set benchmarks for metric performance, identify insights, lead A/B optimization efforts , track KPIs to drive awareness, engagement, and leads to meet the goals of the organization.
You will work together with Campaign & Demand Generation Teams, Marketing Operations, sales, marketing, content teams, training teams, help teams , and product marketing to create a connected and engaged user experience across North America, Europe, and Asia.
What you will do: Support demand generation, product marketing, website and customer success teams to launch campaigns that drive lead generation, pipeline, product launches and customer success. Own and build scalable email programs in support of ongoing campaigns, as well as new and existing email nurture programs. Build net-new email journeys for our users – from onboarding to defining key actions, elements and outcomes, metrics, KPIs and goals, aligning audience, persona, and segments. Help define and create segmentation, automation, and measuring of all campaigns. Responsible for daily execution and optimization of all email campaigns (promotional, triggered, transactional and loyalty campaigns) and programs. This includes: List management, campaign build out, proofs, scheduled launches, segmentation, workflows, and messaging clarify and brand consistency. W ork with stakeholders to understand project request and scope, our content teams on copy; submit detailed project requests for Eloqua teams using Jira (and Smartsheet), track progress, QA, and execute. Write traditional content when needed in partnership with our content teams ( email copy, landing page copy, etc.) Define and influence our campaign request processes and tracking. Perform meticulous campaign QA to ensure consistent messaging , look and feel, and quality across programs. Maintain email marketing calendar . Build accurate UTM tracking and other internal tracking elements for appropriate reporting. Work within our project tracking and management syst e ms to ensure requests are properly scoped , defined, with appropriate success metrics. Optimize existing digital journeys to be more effective and t ake the lead on A/B testing by defining useful hypotheses, designing experiments, analyzing results Work closely with the Marketing Operations, Eloqua team to track and coordinate the delivery of assets and resources in support of digital journeys and awareness campaigns relevant to your responsibilities; support operational tasks and maintain database hygiene ( ie . event list uploads, status updates, data normalization campaigns) Collaborate with copywriters to create and optimize demand generation email communication. Work with design team on templates, designs, iconography , photography as needed to support campaigns. Work with Data and Marketing Ops to analyze results in order to gain insight, optimize funnel and exceed pipeline targets. Once outcomes are defined, create metrics, KPIs and goals for each audience, segment, and product campaign. Report on campaigns, journeys, and promotions utilizing Eloqua Insights, and Tableau (as well as other tools as needed), and provide valuable actionable data-driven insights and recommendations. Stay abreast of competitive programs, messages, and journeys; as well as other SaaS businesses to glean best-practices and new ideas. Maintain current knowledge of marketing strategies and trends . Stay current on the capabilities of Eloqua and recommend changes in marketing format or testing new technologies where applicable.
Who you are / about you / requirements: 3 + years of Email Marketing Experience in an individual contributor role in technology with experience in delivering digital marketing campaigns and product launches. Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Communication, Journalism , or equivalent marketing experience Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo , Pardot, etc … Experience with building campaigns & canvasses in marketing automation platforms. Knowledge and comfort level working within HTML. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, self-motivated and the ability multi-task, and to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Remains calm under pressure. Coachable and quick to learn new skills , with a positive attitude and passionate about a career in marketing Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel ); as well as Project Management skills and tools (such as Smartsheet, or Trello). A highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements Strong program management skills with the ability to execute marketing program from planning, conceptualization, design, execution and measurement Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes Self-starter . Entrepreneurial work ethic, sense of urgency and desire to succeed
