What You’ll Do

EXECUTE | You’re the technical whiz behind the scenes making it all happen. As the Retention Production Specialist, you’ll be a hands-on resource to set up, QA, and deploy email and SMS campaigns for your clients. With guidance from the Retention Strategist, you’ll code emails and build segments and automations to power highly personalized retention campaigns designed to drive customer loyalty and LTV for CTC clients.

COLLABORATE | You’ll work closely with the Retention Strategist to manage the many moving parts of your clients’ retention programs, including providing briefs to email designers, routing creative for review and approval, and managing the campaign set-up and QA process to ensure a flawless execution and delightful customer experience.

MAXIMIZE | You’ll understand not only your clients’ businesses, but know better than anyone the capabilities of their retention technology tools. Whether it’s setting up an email flow in the ESP, launching an SMS campaign, or investigating a deliverability issue, you know how to do it (or have the motivation to dive in and figure it out). What’s more, you’ll work with your internal teams to ensure the functionality at your disposal (within an ESP or otherwise) is being utilized at the highest level for the best return.

What Success Looks Like

  • Support all elements of retention campaign execution, including email coding, SMS message set up, email address/mobile number capture, segment creation, automation/workflow development, and quality assurance.
  • Draft creative briefs that enable designers to bring the vision for each campaign to life.
  • Provide core project management support for the retention service offering, ensuring key milestones are met and strategic momentum is maintained.
  • Regularly pull and organize accurate reporting for key performance KPIs to enable the Retention Strategist to glean insights and make recommendations.
  • Become the expert on your client’s retention tools (ESP, messaging vendor, subscriber acquisition tools, loyalty program, etc.) and collaborate with the Retention Strategist to ensure functionality is maximized.
  • As an extension of their teams, you’ll understand your client’s goals and what success looks like when making decisions.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in an email production role with a brand, agency, or CRM, and with a focus on DTC ecommerce. Experience with Klaviyo is a plus.
  • Expert-level experience coding emails in HTML.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing, ESPs, and best practices for email design and deliverability.
  • Understanding of other messaging platforms, such as SMS and FB Messenger. Experience with Attentive is a plus.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills and the proven ability to drive momentum.
  • Hands-on experience executing A/B tests and analyzing results.
  • Ability to maintain composure and continue to execute under pressure or periods of high stress.
  • Willingness to dive in and find answers to complex problems where solutions may not yet be documented.
  • Attention to detail — if even a pixel is out of place, you raise hell.
  • Relentless curiosity and an insatiable need to know more about your client, their product, and their customers.
  • Self starter that can work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • Ability to complete short-term and long-term goals in a proper manner.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong understanding of direct-to-consumer needs.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
