Moses Lake Community Health Center is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to join our medical team! The Eligibility Specialist provides patients with information and assistance in applying for financial assistance for pharmacy, medical and dental services.

Responsibilities

  • Process reduced fee applications.
  • Process applications for Healthcare Insurance.
  • Checks in pre-registered, new, and established patients.
  • Answer and route calls to the appropriate department.
  • Answer calls in a timely manner, maintain availability on phones (ready status).
  • Maintain UDS goal for case management (50% completion for Medicare Annual Wellness Visits).

  • Requires basic organizational skills, typically to organize own work.
  • Job duties require the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Job duties are typically performed in response to workflow or ongoing direction by supervisors or others.
  • Employees are able to effectively select from alternatives to situations encountered on the job.
  • Work requires consideration of the impact of work product on other employees in the work process.
  • Duties require the compilation of information.
  • Consistently exhibits all of the Moses Lake Community Health Center’s Service Standards with patients and co-workers and contributes to a work environment that is supportive and values the contributions of each individual.
