Job Description

Hazel Networks is offers a wide portfolio of test and repair services for network equipment. This covers the full spectrum of fixed, mobile, LAN, WAN, CATV and broadband technologies.

Our ideal candidate has a high attention to detail, sharp vision, strong work ethic, reliable, and continues learning to improve their work quality. Most of the work is done independently, without any contact with customers and minimal contact with other staff. You'll be required to periodically stand for longer than 3 hours at a time and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

We are looking to hire 2 new employees at our home-office location. Both positions are still available as of April 8, 2021.

Job Duties & Requirements:

  • Testing of incoming inventory for functionality, including but not limited to: modems, routers, ranger extenders, switches and webcams.
  • Cleaning as needed for presentation
  • Good dexterity, attention to detail, & communication skills.
  • Ability to sit and work on repetitive tasks for long periods of time. Visual acuity including color, depth perception and field of vision is required.
  • Basic knowledge of modem/router functionality: changing network settings, WiFi troubleshooting, etc.
  • Often requires working independently without much contact with other staff, perfect for easily following Covid safety guidelines.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience with networking equipment, such as modems and routers is helpful but not required.
  • Inventory organization or management & shipping/receiving in a retail or warehouse setting is helpful but not required.
  • Experience cleaning, fixing, buffing, or polishing plastics is helpful but not required

Hours:

Mon - Thurs (3 Day Weekend!)
9:00AM to 2:00PM -OR- 11:00AM to 4:00PM

Job Type:

Part Time - 20hrs / week

Wage:

$16.00/hr
