SA-TECH provides Research, Development, Test and Evaluation management oversight for work performed including vessel/all targets Operations and Maintenance (O&M), design, integration, installation and O&M of remote control systems for land and sea going targets, Electronic Warfare (EW) systems O&M, FME Threat Replicas and Simulators O&M, and instrumentation/communications O&M.
We also perform mission pre- and post-test operations entailing test planning, scheduling, execution, at-sea target, land targets, EW assets and ranges, and recovery and data collection and management.
SA-TECH conducts concurrent land operations on Eglin Test and Training Range (e.g., EW and land Remote Control Target operations at multiple sites) and seaborne operations in the Eglin Gulf Test and Training Range , plus deployed training missions outside of ECTTR along the Texas coastline and in the Key West, FL vicinity.
We provide maintenance to include preventive, corrosion control, and corrective and depot level (for marine vessels) to keep EW, communication and instrumentation systems, land and marine targets and support vessels operational to meet a demanding mission operations tempo.

Full Time non exempt position.
OVERVIEW:
The Electronics Technician Maintenance II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician
DUTIES INCLUDE: The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
- Troubleshoot, repair, alignment, and operation concepts for complex electronic equipment.
- Operate and troubleshoot computer controlled instrumentation, as well as analog and digital interface equipment.
- Applicant will utilize operational knowledge of various types of test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and frequency counters.
- Use knowledge of RF components and radar subsystems, including transmitters, receivers, and servo systems.
- Duties will also include interfacing with military and civilian test customers to ensure mission success.
- Other duties may be assigned such as safety, security, PIPR, and TMDE.
WORK CONDITIONS:
Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor duties may be performed in high humidity, and on even or uneven surfaces, which may be dry or wet. Requires shift work, must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job demands will require physical dexterity and flexibility. Must be physically able to sit, stand, kneel and climb. Must be willing and able to wear company provided personal protective equipment; such as hearing protectors, safety glasses, gloves, etc. Must comply with all applicable USAF and SA-TECH safety rules, regulations, and policies. Changing work locations, shift changes, and overtime required at times to support operations.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:
- Associates degree in electronics field or certificate of completion from an accredited Technical school, or equivalent military technical training, and minimum three years’ experience in the listed duties required.
- Knowledge of various types of test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and frequency counters.
- Knowledge of Phased-Array Antenna Technology is highly desirable
- Knowledge of RF components and radar subsystems, including transmitters, receivers, and servo systems is highly desirable.
- US Citizenship required and ability to obtain at minimum an interim Secret security clearance prior to hire and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout employment.
- Current Driver License required. Must be able to be insured through Company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of your work employment.
