Repair Technicians - Des Moines, IA

The Repair Technician is responsible for evaluating, analyzing and troubleshooting SMT and tru-hole printed circuit boards in a production environment.

The main focus of this role includes:

  • Analyzing and trouble-shooting SMT and thru-hole printed circuit boards.
  • Test complex electronic assembled printed circuit boards and assemblies using test processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to component level using various test equipment.
  • Repair and replace circuit boards using soldering skills.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • AA in Electronics or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience analyzing and troubleshooting electronic based products is required.
  • 2+ years soldering experience is required.
  • Ability to perform light mechanical assembly and disassembly.
  • Ability to read electronic based schematics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office systems.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
