Shifts in Our Plant:
1st shift - 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday to Friday.
2nd shift - 2:00PM to 10:30PM Monday to Friday. $1/hour shift premium
3rd shift – 10:00PM to 6:30AM Sunday night to Thursday night. $0.75/hour shift premium
Shift: 2nd shift - 2:00PM to 10:30PM Monday to Friday. $1/hour shift premium
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned.
- Applies troubleshooting techniques and knowledge of production systems to diagnose machine problems, both electrical and mechanical.
- Performs or coordinates repairs to equipment per manufacturer and company requirements.
- Use of variety of hand and power tools and test instruments, such pipe benders, saws, drills, soldering irons, oscilloscopes, ammeters, and digital multi-meters.
- Install, adjusts, and calibrates equipment to manufacturer, company and engineer’s drawings and specifications.
- Maintains equipment, practicing preventative and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer and company specifications, including the proper lubrication, cleaning, and repair or replacement components.
- Repairs, modifies and maintains building electrical service.
- Complies with all quality, ISO and OSHA standards.
- Completes training on new and existing equipment.
- Uses applicable reference material and at the direction of the supervisor may be required to use specialized reference material.
- Must use proper lock-out-tag-out procedures and ability to train other Electronics Technicians.
- May work as a leader of a team, which may utilize helpers.
- Rewire/repair of manufacturing equipment (i.e. drives, control panels, and PLC controls).
- Use PLC (AB, SIEMENS) development software for troubleshooting and maintaining machines.
- Utilize outside technical support resources (ie. AB technical support).
- Make repairs to mechanical equipment.
- Specify, install and troubleshoot new equipment.
- Repair, modify and maintain buildings/facilities.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Orders spare and repair parts for equipment and facilities.
- Implements CI/Cost reduction and safety projects.

Education/Experience/Skills:
- 2-5 years’ maintenance experience including experience or training with electrical and electronics components
- Mechanical aptitude
- Siemens and Allen Bradley troubleshooting
- PLCs and CNC programming
Preferred Applicants Will Also Have:
- Two year technical degree and/or vocational training
- Experience with benders, cutters, and/or roll forming equipment
