As (EEG) Technologist, you will be responsible for the following.

Responsibilities: SPECIFIC DUTIES/TASKS THE CONTRACT EMPLOYEE SHALL PERFORM. The Administrative Support Specialist shall: Serve to coordinate and support all required clinical administrative requirements for assigned providers and clinical functions within the NICoE. This includes but is not limited to consult reviews, patient scheduling, contacting patients, communicating with IRMAC, preparing monthly reports, staff meeting minutes, educating patients on administrative processes and appointments: Work products and documents related to performance of Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist.
Qualifications:
  • Degree/Education: Must have an associate degree in any field preferred.
  • Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support:
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of one-year related experience
  • Work precuts and documents related to maintenance of patient records, developing of policies and procedures, and inventory of laboratory supplies.
  • Computer generated work including scheduling of patient appointments.
  • Possess knowledge of and experience with software packages to include Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, CHCS, AHLTA, and current Outlook email system.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess adaptability and flexibility to meet short suspense and project turnaround/changes.
  • Military knowledge preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Possess ability to tactfully inform others of proper procedures to accomplish mission.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Schedule clinical appointments as necessary for the facility.
  • Assist with metrics, spreadsheets, PowerPoint slides, data calls, trackers, and other administrative tasks to support overall daily mission and program development including innovative ideas and research proposals. HT001419P0207 Page 40 of 45
  • Receive VIPs, visitors, and telephone calls, using good judgment to answer questions and resolve issues or tactfully refer to appropriate staff daily as required.
  • Notify appropriate staff of patient's arrival, cancellations, and no shows and remedy patient conflicts as they arise.
  • Draft and prepare routine correspondence, type documents in final form in appropriate military format, ensuring correct grammar and spelling for government review and signature.
  • Photocopy and shred documents.
  • Attend meetings upon request; will be identified as contractor employee, will not obligate, or commit the government.
  • Scan documents into PDF format and prepare PowerPoint presentations as requested.
  • Establishes and maintains files; revises and disposes of files in accordance with governing regulatory procedures.
  • Maintains ready-reference files of frequently consulted regulations, policies, rosters, directives, and other material.
  • Establishes and maintains lists and registers, by various categories, of persons or organizations frequently contacted.
  • Serve as a Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and AHLTA Manager as required.
  • Enters, manipulates, and/or retrieves information and data from clinical record systems as appropriate to the area assigned.
  • Maintain daily accuracy of encounters record.
  • Reconciles end-of-shift/ end-of-day processing and reports.
  • Maintain and monitors patient appointment schedules for the unit/clinic.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • May maintain calendar for staff, preventing double booking of appointments/meeting.
