Electrician Apprentice/4-day Workweek

NOTE: This position is located in Reno, Nevada.

What We Offer:

• 4-day work weeks: typical hours are Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm
• Overtime is always appreciated, but never required
• Sign on bonus of $1000 (after 6 months)
• Possible relocation package for someone moving from out of state
• Year-round, full-time work

• Annual raises and incentives (5% salary increase after 6 months)
• If necessary, Midtown Electric to pay OSHA 10 course fees plus 10 hours for time to complete

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information
• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices

Qualifications:

• Driver's license required
• Previous electrical and/or construction experience a plus
• Providing your own tools is a plus
