This is what you’ll do:
- Lead Vehicle Level Electrical Integration (Lab Car)– You will lead and maintain development assets electrically representative of our vehicle (Lab Car) by supporting bleeding edge updates, testing and development.
- Root Cause Challenging Issues – You will diagnose and root cause a wide variety of electrical issues which arise from evolving development across harness, ECUs, and software.
- Drive System Issues to Resolution – You will exhibit the technical and leadership skills to drive resolutions from the root causes, by sharing information to relevant teams across the company
- Collaborative Problem Solving– You will work closely and collaborate with all relevant teams across the company to drive solutions.
This is what you’ll need:
- Technical degree in automotive electrical systems, or relevant area of study
- 5+ years diagnosing a wide variety of electrical issues on vehicles or comparable complexity systems
- 5+ years in a leadership position requiring coordination and collaboration of multiple technical teams
- 3+ years diagnosing with CANape or similar software
- 3+ years of actual hand-on experience either trouble shooting or repairing electrical systems
- Well versed in automotive networking systems, CAN, LIN and Ethernet
- Electric/hybrid vehicle experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast paced, and ambiguous environments
- Strong collaborative attitude, and team- player
- Self-motivated and self-sufficient
- Demonstrated strong creative thinking and problem-solving toolbox
