Position Summary
NorthEast Electrical is seeking an experienced professional with a passion for emobility/sustainability and a positive track record of supporting a new product category across regional branches.
This full-time position will drive the adoption of EVSE solutions with our Outside and Inside sales teams and their customers. You will be a critical member of the organization, helping to develop strategy, sales plans, training, and promotions to diversify and grow our business with EV charging.

Summary:
The objective of the Lighting Solutions Specialist position is to utilize experience and expertise in lighting design and controls to increase sales and profitability of NorthEast’s lighting business. The Lighting Solutions Specialist is a business partner with management and the sales teams developing a go to market strategy for lighting energy solutions, design build opportunities, and lighting control layout and commissioning. The Lighting Solutions Specialist will engage in new technologies including but not limited to EV Charging and Solar and develop the necessary skill set to support business growth in these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Be integral resource for the development and commercial success of EV Charging sales across NorthEast Electrical branches
- Educate branches and their customers on EV market and charging solutions
- Support and drive sales revenue performance
- Work closely with manufacturers to drive new opportunities for NorthEast Electrical and our customers
- Perform sales presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, present, articulate/clarify value and differentiation
- Support territory & market strategy
- Maintain formal CRM pipeline for EV Charging projects
- Develop a strong technical baseline through training and development milestones
- Work closely with marketing team to support promotional activity and market strategy
- 1 - 3 years of outside sales experience preferred. Experience in e-mobility and cloud services a plus.
- Self-motivated, strong execution capability, aggressive and passionate
- Valid Driver’s license
- Four-year degree, technical schooling or equivalent job experience is required.
- Knowledge of LED lighting fixtures and applications.
