Electrical Controls PLC HMI SCADA Engineer

This is a newly created, full-time, permanent Electrical Controls PLC HMI SCADA Engineer career opportunity at a smaller but growing, flexible engineering firm. This position is challenging and there is a variety of customers and projects. This person can be involved in controls projects to networking to ARC Flash studies and so on. Employees stay current with technology. This person will gain experience and be able to manage projects when they are able. Duties and responsibilities will include the following:

• Programming Programmable Logic Controls, Wonderware, HMI, Rockwell, and SCADA
• MCC, control panel and P&ID engineering
• SQL development
• Computer networking
• Traveling domestically up to 30 percent for startup and testing

The successful candidate should have the following background:

• Two or more years of PLC programming experience
• Two or more years of control system and control panel design
• Ability to travel up to 30 percent
