Electrical Assemblers

We are a 30-year old company seeking long-term dedicated Electrical Assemblers.

Job Description:

As a member of the team, the Electrical Assembler position will work closely with the Electrical Lead to ensure all machine automation, custom machinery, and minimum builds are properly manufactured to Accutek's high standards and quality assurance to ensure that Accutek equipment is built in accordance with customer requirements. This position will build assemblies and sub-assemblies per BOM and manufacturing instructions using basic hand tools to small power tools and by following industrial schematics. This position is responsible for the quality of machines, training customers when needed. This position will also assist in assembly, assembly preparation, troubleshooting, applications testing, assembly documentation and technical support.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties:

  • Assembly of machinery including, but not limited to components, sub-assemblies, machine assemblies, final assembly, wiring, paint, and decoration.
  • Update and maintain all current documentation for accuracy including drawings, BOMs and process procedures.
  • Record time spent on any given machine, or minimum build.
  • Assist in reporting the history of failed / warranty parts found during production or during the warranty time period of the machine to determine faulty or unsound components.
  • Ensure safety standards are being followed.
  • Build machines, minimum builds, in accordance to specifications as prescribed by engineering
  • Responsible for keeping work area clean, neat and orderly.

Qualifications and Skills

Preferred:

  • Good interpersonal skills and human relation skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and computer skills.
  • Skills in recording, compiling, and organizing information efficiently, and accurately.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours.
  • Outstanding organization
  • Interpret industrial electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Acquire within the 90 day probation period, the following tools:
  • Socket set in both metric and SAE.
  • Allen wrench set in both metric and SAE
  • 6 piece wrench set in both metric and SAE
  • Screwdriver set
  • Pliers set
  • 6" Caliper
  • 10' Tape measure
  • Hammer
  • Center punch
  • 3/8" Drill.
  • Drill bits and taps, tap handle. From #6 through ¼-20.
  • Wire strippers.
  • Volt meter
  • Ferrule Crimpers
  • Terminal Crimpers

Advancement Job Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in machine building/assembly.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Self-starter and able to motivate and train others in specific manufacturing processes including but not limited to; electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC Programming, automation control packages as they pertain to the compartment.
  • Proven problem solver.
  • Ability to swiftly analyze situations and act accordingly.
  • Travel periodically to customer facilities.
