We are searching for an eLearning Media Designer / Video Editor and Animator with experience conceptualizing and producing compelling video, motion graphics and eLearning stories for training of corporate and retail employees. In this role you will create high-quality, impactful eLearning courses and training videos that increase viewer engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will create cutting edge interactive training utilizing HTML5 animation, video, and motion graphics for our innovative training and other digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of creative video storytelling, HTML animation, 3D graphics and sound design. You should be able to commute occasionally to our Irvine, California office. Individuals with the right skills may be accommodated to work remotely.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a team of instructional and graphic designers, subject matter experts, videographers and programmers producing interactive courses for our clients, while meeting quality, schedule, budget and business requirements.

The successful candidate in this role will be creative, self-motivated and able to work independently, and will bring a “can-do” attitude to the team!

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in motion design, interactive design, video editing, 3D animation, graphic design or supportive disciplines; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a motion designer, video editor, interactive designer, graphic designer, animator, or rapid eLearning developer
  • Experience in video storytelling and eLearning with ability to edit video and audio from receipt of raw footage to final deliverables
  • Experience with HTML5 design and custom web development skills such as CSS and JavaScript
  • Ability to work independently in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with Director of Production to provide creative input on solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability work on several projects at once to meet deadlines
  • Experience with rapid eLearning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline 360
  • Experience programming complex branching scenarios, interactions, and gamified content
  • Experience developing HTML5 or video-based micro-learning
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Actively follow trends in educational learning and video content to bring fresh ideas to the team


ADDITIONAL SKILLS OF VALUE:

  • Experience using Greensock Animation Platform
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign
  • Experience using Final Cut Pro
  • Knowledge of industry learning standards such as SCORM, AICC and LTI
  • Experience with Camtasia
  • Possession of camera and video equipment
