Position Description
JMX Brands is looking to expand their online offering by launching a new brand, EcoFriendly Digs, focused on eco-friendly home furnishings and accessories, and is searching for the right candidate to take on the task of product management, website coordination, and new brand growth.
The EFD Coordinator is responsible for product management, vendor relations, website enhancement, SEO, and collaboration with other teams that result in revenue growth for EFD. Strategic direction for Eco Friendly Digs is established by the PMI Team Manager and CEO. The EFD Product Manager is responsible for contributing to and executing plans, tactical and operational adjustments, and initiatives that support growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Advise on and assist with strategic decision-making – providing input with long-term, sustainable ideas.
- Communicate and execute the business plan for EFD, maximizing growth in profits and advising PMI Team Manager of tactical and operational adjustments.
- Manage EFD products and categories to: Maximize our performance at every level with respect to EFD.
- Quickly adapt to the competitive environment within the platform, adjusting prices and making recommendations on new product listings, inventory models, and new vendor relationships.
- Generate strong vendor relationships, focusing on the biggest competitive advantages utilizing the EFD to gain Play to Win leverage.
- Coordinate with other teams to support EFD business operations.
- Regularly report on strategy updates and performance metrics.
Our primary metrics for success will be:
- Clarification of our winning aspiration and development of a two-year business plan.
- New vendors, adding diversification, leverage, and revenues.
- Collaborative, synergistic relationships with other teams that lead to broad ownership and shared success.
Qualifications:
- Go-getter attitude with a strong entrepreneurial mindset focusing on meeting assigned performance targets.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to track, measure, and report on key performance indicators.
- Experience with product management and/or marketing in an e-commerce environment (or similar background) desired.
- Interest in or knowledge of eco-friendly products and eco-friendly marketplace preferred.
- Understanding of SEO, paid advertising, Google Analytics, MOZ (or similar research tools) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related field required.
Compensation:
Salary range of $47,609-$50,609 with up to $10,000 in bonuses
$1,500 Sign-On Bonus
