What you will do in this role:
- Discuss the meaning of medical prescriptions as applied to the entire role of neurodiagnostic regimes.
- Properly maintains data management system for electroencephalograms.
- Performs standard electroencephalographic recordings under minimum direction with responsibilities for obtaining standard as well as special procedures EEG’s.
- Transports patients, distributes final reports and maintains data management system for tests and some other duties as assigned by the department director.
Qualifications
Education- Requires Associates Degree (A.A.)/job related certification from college or technical school.
What qualifications you will need:
- Prefer registration by the American Board of Registration of EEG Technologists.
- 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required.
