The Team
In 2008, Deloitte Transactions and Business Analytics LLP (DTBA) opened a new facility in Nashville, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. DTBA's E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of DTBA' s e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join DTBA's Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.
The EDSC will be a 24x7, 365 days a year operation. The position is located in Nashville, TN.
Work You'll Do
As a Manager with our Business Analyst team you'll focus on performing detailed requirements analysis, processes documentation, and performing some user acceptance testing. This is a hands-on role that will help, design, document and demonstrate solutions in a very collaborative, team-oriented manner
§ Responsible for documenting end user / stakeholder needs. Document assumptions, evaluate options, and validate recommendations addresses need.
§ Build sprint backlogs by working with the Product Owner and users to specify development ready user stories.
§ Collaborate with QA to develop acceptance tests / criteria for user stories.
§ Negotiate planned changes in the form of minimum viable changes with stakeholders.
§ Support the Scrum Master as needed to help identify potential impediments and facilitate clearing them to ensure the team is working as efficiently as possible.
§ Collaborate on deliverables with off-shore resources.
§ Maintains an understanding of other teams within Discovery and is a Subject Matter Expert on the various functions and products .
§ Comprehensive skills using models and other visualization methods to express and understand business need.
§ Perform other duties as assigned .
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree required. Information Systems or Decision Science type degrees preferred.
§ 3 or more years of experience in in technical leadership.
§ Proven ability to work effectively on projects following Scrum principles, with expert working knowledge of the concepts , tools, and practices.
§ Basic SQL Skills.
§ Strong MS Office skills.
§ Working knowledge of Microsoft development platforms
§ Knowledge of common e-Discovery tools is a plus (i.e. Concordance, Relativity, Clearwell, IPRO, and OCR software packages).
§ Scrum Certified a plus.
§ Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels and areas of expertise.
§ Ability to identify project risks and escalate in a timely manner.
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
§ A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
§ A track record of following through on commitments.
§ Successful experience and strategies for managing offshore/remote team .
§ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
§ Ability to travel up to 20% is preferred (While the ability to travel up to 20% is preferred, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice
