Job Description
Assists in teaching students in the Kid’s Campus. Must be committed to serving a diverse college community. Actively participates in and contributes to continuous quality improvement.Minimum Qualifications
REQUIRED SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A current health assessment, on a form provided by the college, is required upon selection. The health assessment must be updated every two years. Documented health assessments must include (a) immunization status, (b) capacities and limitations that may affect job performance, and © documentation by a licensed health professional of TB skin testing using the Mantoux method and showing the employee to be free from active TB disease. For those who have positive TB skin tests and who develop a persistent cough or unexplained fever, immediate assessment by a licensed physician is required. For those who have increased risk of TB according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), documentation is required annually by a licensed health professional showing that the employee is free from active TB disease.Preferred QualificationsBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- The work is typically performed while sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching or stooping and occasionally sitting at a desk or table.
- The employee continuously lifts light and heavy objects, climbs ladders, distinguishes between shades of color, and utilizes the sense of smell.

- Prepares for outdoor playtime; helps with jackets, coats, hats and applies sunscreen.
- Prepares formula for bottles; prepares meals for babies; changes diapers.
- Does laundry and washes dishes.
- Sanitizes classroom furniture, toys, and water table.
- Assists with home visits for primary children.
- Assists at front desk as needed.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
