Durable Medical Equipment company is looking for a customer service representative to process orders including but not limited to durable medical equipment, respiratory equipment and supplies, rehab equipment, bracing/prosthetics, and urinary supplies.
Preferred candidate possesses prior experience working at a durable medical equipment, respiratory, or prosthetics/orthotics company as a customer service representative. Additionally possessing knowledge of medical terminology, Brightree software, diagnosis codes, HCPC codes, LCD and Coverage Criteria is helpful.
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing the order and ensuring all guidelines are met in order to fulfill the order and to send to the billing department.
- Obtain necessary documentation for orders
- Multi task multiple orders in various stages as well as handling phone calls at the same time.
- Maintain relationships with referral sources such as hospital case managers, facility discharge planners, physician medical assistants, etc.
- Follow up on daily order tasks and complete weekly reports
Although we do prefer someone with experience in documentation requirements in the DME field, if the candidate is a fast learner, we are willing to train the right individual.
