We're looking for someone like this to:

• communicate effectively with colleagues in the Front Office, Middle Office, and external counterparts & clients
• support the day-to-day DTC domestic fails process for all equities, fixed income and UBS commercial paper and CD issuances via DTC
• be responsible and accountable for delivery of key objectives within your immediate team and the broader Middle Office function
• provide an industry leading level of client & post-trade service

Your team

Our team manages daily fails across multiple UBS entities and interacts with many operations groups globally with a goal of providing an industry leading level of client service to external clients and internal stakeholders, supporting stakeholders and developing valuable internal & external relationships with employees of varying seniority. We also monitor and manage third party vendors' performance in line with SLA expectations.

Your expertise

• work independently with an understanding of the finance industry & financial products.
• knowledge of broker/dealer operations concepts such as Stock Record, DTC, Seg. and Trade Lifecycle highly preferred
• strong product knowledge including rollout and integration
• proven risk assessment and management skill set
• ability to prioritize amidst competing / conflicting priorities
• able to take ownership of the design and operating effectiveness of key controls and processes
• collaborating across functions to deliver strategic projects and change
• knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and strong MS Excel skills
• ability to research and understand financial concepts
